One of the other hiking route that we did is Kinder Low.

The route started from Bowden Bridge car park, Hayfield. The car park ticket machine doesn’t accept coins of one pound and only a limited amount of coins so recommend to take few 2 pound coins as otherwise you might not be able to pay for all day just few hours. You can also park on the side of the road but it can get very busy.

Once you start to ascent you can feel the fresh air and the wind starts to increase. It is not very steep and the route is not difficult but there are few areas with demanding terrain.

After just few minutes of hiking the weather had changed, it was foggy and it started to rain and we couldn’t see the view most of the Kinder Plateau.

We will have to go back on a sunny summer day.

After rain the sun will come again and so it did. The sky started to clear up and we were so clad when we reached to the waterfall we were able to see the magnificent views.

Kinder Low

There are no words to describe this views, I was awed by the spectacular landscape.

We stopped and had lunch near the reservoir and finished the 9 miles route a little bit tired but smiling and happy.
